Why did you choose this profession? To be a part of something bigger than myself – where service, responsibility and purpose matter.
How do you deal with stressful situations: Prior experience and the ability to implement unstructured problem solving allow me to slow down the problem mentally and focus on what I can control in the moment. Staying calm, thinking clearly, having confidence in my senses and remaining adaptable are what make me capable of performing effectively in high-stress situations.
Honors/highlights: Member of the LPD SWAT Competition Team since 2019, earning multiple top finishes at state and national competitions.
Hobbies/interests: I enjoy staying active, training and spending time outdoors when I can – but most importantly, being with my wife and children is where I want to be.
