Why did you choose this profession:
After completing my service with the United States Marine Corps, I wanted to pursue a fulfilling career where I can continue my service on a local level. I became an Officer at the Rock Springs Police Department in Wyoming where I served for 8 years until my wife and I found our calling in Texas. I’m grateful to be part of the Lubbock Police Department and such a wonderful community.

How do you deal with stressful situations: Stress is part of life and everything is a matter of perspective. It is easy to become consumed by negativity or stresses of life but you just have to remind yourself to see the good. When it comes to police work the best way to reduce stress is training your mind and body for situations that may arise.

Honors/highlights: I am honored to have had the experiences I have had and the people I have met. I have had the honor to serve among squared-away individuals in the military and law enforcement.

Hobbies/interests: Spending time with my wife and our 4 dogs, weightlifting, and I have recently started to play golf.
